About the Artist

Carla Fish-Cohen has been involved in the creative world throughout her life. Carla has a music degree from The Cleveland Institute of Music where she strengthened her skills on the cello, culminating in a 12 year career with the Akron and Canton Ohio Symphonies.

After Carla received her degree in interior design, it was a natural transition from accomplished musician to lead creative designer for KraftMaid, a purveyor of fine cabinetry for the home. Carla's responsibilities there evolved into many creative designs. This included artistic display forums for marketing that combined her many special visual talents with drawing and photography.

In 2003 Carla moved to California where she continues to work as a consultant designer, as well as an artist. Carla’s creativity has evolved into multi-media art, producing her own unique pet related projects.
